Broke? Fix It Yourself: BE Wealthy

If you’re reading this right now you probably have been broke, are broke, or know someone who is struggling with being broke. The pain and suffering of being in this state is truly awful. Being broke causes thoughts of despair, feelings of failure, desperation, struggle, lack and need. Being broke prevents us from reaching our potential, from living our lives freely. Being broke prevents us from being wealthy.

How is this possible? Like attracts like. Being broke attracts more experiences of being broke. It is a vicious cycle, once that can very easily be transformed once we understand the fundamental laws of how our mind and spirit interact with the universe.

It is your underlying state of BEING, in this case, being broke, that creates the resultant thoughts and feelings in your mind. As a package, this whole message is broadcast to the universe, which in return gives you more of the same: experiences of being broke.

One of the laws of manifestation is that we must BE before we can DO, and DO before we can HAVE. Of course modern society has twisted this all around. Being broke is a powerful message we are sending to the universe and ourselves. We are in a state of BEING, and it is broke. This will inform our actions to act in ways to continue to be broke, and we will continue to have this condition of being broke in our lives.

Your life experience is an outer reflection of your inner reality. All the thoughts and feelings you hold, consciously and unconsciously, are what create the experience that is your life. Your past created your present, and your present is creating your future.

It can be hard to understand that we are responsible for what we experience. I remember being unhappy, and then experiencing events that I perceived as causing me to be unhappy. Then I would say to myself, I am unhappy because of this… no wonder I am unhappy. I was trapped in my own vicious cycle and had no idea it was me who was responsible for my experiences of unhappiness.

To break the cycle I first needed to know what was broken in order to fix it. It was the message I was sending out. I found there was a very simple way to fix it.

If I notice one day that I am unhappy, and understand that BEING unhappy is the cause of my continuing experience of unhappiness, it is that day that I can choose to change. All I need to do to break the cycle is: choose to be happy. It doesn’t take anything from outside myself to be happy. All I have to do is gain awareness, pause, and pull up from within myself the state of being happy, replacing the unhappiness. We all have this capacity.

Choosing is an exercise of free will. You can choose BE happy, healthy, wealthy, whatever you desire. Take a moment and just BE happy. It is possible for anyone to do and a very powerful exercise once you have done it and understood it. If you are being happy, you will do things that make you happy, and you will attract happy experiences into your life. Being happy is the first step towards living a happy life. It seems almost like a riddle, but understanding it unravels the secrets of life.

If you find yourself broke, look within. You’ll find you feel broke, and are in a powerful state of BEING. The awareness of this gives you the choice. You can choose your state of being. Imagine what it is like to feel wealthy. Take that feeling and hold it, you are now BEING wealthy. This is how to break the vicious cycle of being broke. By BEING wealthy, you are now transforming the signals you are broadcasting. You are emanating wealth and the laws of cause and effect have no choice but to bring to you what you already are. Now your actions will begin to bring to you the wealth you feel inside.

By being conscious of your states of being, you can choose to change them. The positive results will return to you without fail, following the natural laws of the universe.

Friends with Benefits - Can it work?

Is there ever such a thing as “No Strings Attached?” Can a friendship between two people withstand casual sex? Or is that just an idealistic concept?

One night stands aren’t as in as they used to be. Now lovers are coupling up for more long term sex. It’s called “Friends with Benefits”. They get all the benefits of a relationship without the commitment. They start out as friends. They enjoy each other’s company and then one night start sleeping together.

They don’t date. It’s not a traditional “significant other” type relationship. In many cases, the other friends don’t even know about their sex on the side. It’s set up as a mutual gratification, friends helping friends arrangement.

What most Friends with Benefits fail to do is set up the rules. It generally starts out as either happenstance or perhaps a small dialog exchange, “I don’t have anyone, you don’t either, so let’s do it, no strings attached. What do you think?” It all sounds well in good; at least initially when both are hornier than a unicorn. But can friends who sleep together remain friends once it ends? Or is the start of mutual sex the start of the end of their friendship?

Sex creates a bond, no matter how discussed up front it is. Someone always gets hurt in the end of a no strings attached, Friends with Benefits arrangement. Booty Calls always start out with mutual orgasms as the sole purpose. Yet when two people share that kind of closeness, and if it’s a recurring buddy booty call, then they spend time together. Someone is doing something very intimate with and to the other. Who isn’t always appreciative of a good orgasm?

One or both may know that they don’t want a commitment and that’s why the No Strings Attached agreement was conceived. But when the “ooh baby, ya that feels so good, I love what you do to me” occurs regularly, how can they NOT start to feel something for the other? One person will inevitably feel a stronger emotional bond than the other; it’s not male/female bias. One will still only love the physical benefits and the other will enjoy the great sex so much that they get attached, even though they weren’t looking for any relationship.

Or perhaps one person may have always been secretly attracted to the friend and knew the other didn’t want a relationship, yet figured a Friends with Benefits arrangement was better than nothing. Hence they verbally agreed to the arrangement but emotionally they were already hooked.

Develop some rules before entering into any such arrangement. Consider these suggestions: No going out with each other unless it’s in a group situation or you know the night will end in sex, therefore the outing is part of foreplay, no public affection, no gifts and any other boundaries you want to instill. Before it starts, decide how it will end. If starting out as friends, the goal is to end as friends. If new love interests were previously discussed among friends, shouldn’t those types of conversations still be allowed?

Take sufficient sleep and recharge yourself after a hard day’s work. Never, ever ignore your health. I’ve learned my lesson when I sacrificed my health for the sake of success. I’ve worked very long hours everyday and just got minimal sleep… and as a result, I became ill.

It’s not worth it. Success won’t matter if you don’t have good health to enjoy it.

A Little Goes a Long Way

Relationships and marriages are seldom easy all the time. No matter how perfect a relationship is, your and your partner are bound to hit some bumps, or long stretches where you have trouble of some kind. If you meet a couple that seems to have no problems getting along, it could be that they discovered a simple little secret early in their relationship. Simply, show love and affecting in tons of little ways, and don’t save it for just those big times when things are going badly, or you need to apologize for something major.

On your way home, why not stop and pick some wildflowers for your wife (or girlfriend if you’re not married) from the side of the road. Maybe she had a hard day at work, maybe the kids have been driving her nuts, or perhaps you’ve both been a little less intimate recently. Picture it now, she’s at home frazzled and expecting you to come in, and then you arrive with a big bunch of wildflowers you picked JUST FOR HER; you will have made her day no matter how bad (or good) it had been. It’s like a second chance to start fresh with one small, yet powerful gesture.

If your spouse spending a lot of time out of town, or feeling like those proverbial ’ships passing in the night’ because of work, kids or other commitments, give this a try. Find a sun catcher, charm or porcelain figure in the shape of a star, wrap it in a small gift box and place a small note on it that says “Wish I were there.” and slip in into their suitcase, briefcase or even purse. When he or she finds it and knows you miss them, but thought enough to share that simple thought, it will re-awaken those deep emotions.

Try making small, simple changes in your tired routines to inspire some fresh intimacy. It won’t require as much effort as you think. Put a Post-It note on the TV that says “Wouldn’t you rather turn me on?” with saucy signature. If your partner is reading a book, sneak out the bookmark and replace it with a note like “Guess where I hid your bookmark?”

When you first got together as a couple you likely did lots of small things that would make your eyes twinkle and heart flutter, do them again! If you’re out for a walk, shopping or just watching TV together, be intimate. Hold hands, link arms, or just slip your arm around her. Whisper something sweet and sultry into her ear and just gaze lovingly into her eyes. If she looks at you suspiciously or asks what you’re doing, just answer that you’re amazed at how much you love her.

Adding a little more romance to your marriage can be as simple as these simple, small acts. If you take steps to break the monotony of a relationship you can make your partner feel more appreciated and loved. You will feel the same in return!
